These are the two bucks that we used for breeding for 2008 kids (Buddy on the left, Showdown on the right.) Thank you Cabernet Creek for allowing us to "borrow" Showdown for 2008 kids! We're very excited about our kids!

April 19, 2008Cricket's finally kidded! We didn't intend to breed her - we didn't know she was bred - and we had NO idea when she was due. So, while we waited and discussed "false pregnancies" she has finally proved us wrong and we have the prettiest little doeling. She's a clean 2-teated young lady! Born during the April snowstorm (go figure) so we have decided to name her SNOWBALL!

Bootsie's Boys Have Arrived! Now we're just waiting on one more doe and we should be finished with our kidding for 2008! It's been an exciting and educational experience for us this year, and we've been busy making notes everywhere so that we can remember everything when it comes time to kidding for next year.
